Surf Residence

This beachside house is nestled amongst a mix of beach houses and units. On a side street close to the beach, the house layout orientates towards the northern boundary to take advantage of the solar access & prevailing sea breezes. A two storey void is incorporated to allow light & ventilation to penetrate the long floor plan. This two storey void allows views to the sky from this confined site. Bedrooms are located on the first floor with passing views into the living area and pool below. The study is located above a curved mosaic element that houses the laundry and guest bedroom below.
