Fourth House

This residence was designed around a two storey, north facing living room which allowed the compact plan to be flooded with north light. This light was controlled by an electronic aluminium louvre system. Sliding screens and glass doors disappear into wall cavities to allow the external spaces to merge with the internal living spaces. External chamferboard cladding is reminiscent of the local beachside architecture.
