The project was designed to be a coastal retreat expressing a sense of calm and serenity. The introduction of the curved masonary wall draws on the ethos of the circular form and the atmosphere that these shapes create. The wall acts as a statement that gives the house its identity within the neighbourhood.

The use of sculptural forms are used consistently throughout the building creating points of interest for the user. The use of a subdued colour scheme reinforces the design intent, creating an environment that is refreshing and invigorating to experience.
