Quoll Headquarters
Quoll Headquarters
This remote cabin was designed to advantage of views to the large granite outcrop and the manmade water course. The blackbutt timber cladding was allowed to age to grey to match the adjoining gum forest. This timber was sawn and installed on site by the owner. The cabin is off grid, with power, sewerage and water supplied via a shed building located on the site. The building survived the bushfire that devasted the property in 2019, with the fire passing beneath the building.
The cabin is part of a larger conservation project that includes information and study facilties for the local fauna, including the spotted tail quoll.
