Shane joins Paul Uhlmann Architects in 2024 having worked within commercial and residential architectural practice on the Gold Coast and in Brisbane. Shane received his Bachelor of Architecture Studies, Master of Architecture and Master of Project Management from Bond University in 2019.

Having worked both locally and internationally, Shane has a deep appreciation of the importance of place; acknowledgment of what makes each place unique & distinct, whilst maintaining a mindful preservation of this vernacular identity. During his time in practice, Shane has developed a particular interest in how occupants engage with their built environment and how these spaces can make occupants’ feel. This interest, in conjunction with his project management experience, has provided Shane with a unique ability to guide the design process from start to finish, maintaining a human-centric approach throughout this process, whilst also delivering high-quality design solutions which exceed client expectations.

Outside of architecture, Shane enjoys nothing more than to travel. Having previously worked for an airline, exploring new places, cultures and traditions is something he believes will never leave his system. To this end, you’ll generally find him reading, researching and meticulously planning his next sojourn.
